Nicknames "Johnny Rockstar" by all who cross his path...it doesn't take llong to see that John eats, sleeps, breathes and bleeds music. His musical tastes and fashion sense are taken primarily from classic 70's rock, early 90's Grunge and Punk Rock. Colored in anything leopard and his trademark studded belt, Johnny doesn't go anywhere without an instrument in his hands. Playing his Fender P-Bass till his fingers bleed, rocking morning, noon and night, everyday, on and off stage, he is an obvious obsessed musician. The master of creative sounds and effects, John uses his bass to fill any space Heather, Kenny and Kevin leave him.

His musical influences are: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Elvis, The Who, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, Supergrass, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, The Living End, Guns N Roses and Izzy Stradlin.

His favorite bass players are: Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, Mickey Quinn, Scott Owen, Flean and Jeff Ament.

Johnny has been plaing in bands since he was 13 and rocking the stage since he was 15. After coming from fronting his longtime band VEJ or singing and playing guitar in Yellowbelly and Hitler Stole My Potato, John has experienced all the rock "n'f'n" roll has to throw at him and he is definitely in it for the long hail with The StereBirds.
